Customer Belongings

Bringing belongings with your pets:

Due to a very large increase of belongings being brought with individual pets to the hotel we are finding it extremely difficult to wash, dry, disinfect and keep track of all items

Please could we therefore ask all customers to bring only one piece of bedding and one safe toy per animal if possible. We do provide all beds, bedding and toys so you don’t actually have to bring anything if you do not wish to

Please note that quilts cannot be accepted. We cannot keep washing and drying them on a daily basis after the dog has had its walks am and pm daily and the covers and quilts get filthy very quickly

Please do not be offended if we return items to you or say that they are not needed or will not be used. Over the years we have come to know what is deemed as a safe and acceptable toy for a kennel and cattery environment. You pets welfare is our priority

Limit the items to ones that your pet will obtain comfort from or really likes to play with (do not wash items prior to arrival so they smell of home)

Items that will not fit in our washer or drier will not be used. Items that contain beads or polystyrene balls will not be used. Items that have choking hazards (i.e pull off eyes/noses etc) or stuffing will not be used. Items that are already ripped and have stuffing falling out of them will not be used.

I hope you understand the reasoning behind our request as we have to keep your pet safe during their stay and customers are bringing more and more items (up to 10 items for one dog times that by say 30 dogs! Plus in some cases we wash collars and leads too – that’s a lot of washing and drying and a lot of items to keep track of)
